Festivals and celebrations are an integral part of the culture of Bangladesh. Pohela Falgun, Pohela Boishakh for Bengali and Boishabi for hill tracks tribal, Matribhasha dibosh, victory day, Nobanno, Pitha Utshob in winter, Poush Songkranti and chaitro sankranti in the last day of Bangla month chaitro, Shakhrain are celebrated by everyone despite their religion. Muslim festivals of Eid ul-Fitr, Eid ul-Azha, Milad un Nabi, Muharram, Chand raat, Shab-e-Baraat, Bishwa Ijtema; Hindu festivals of Durga Puja and Janmashtami; Buddhist festival of Buddha Purnima; Christian festival of Christmas and secular festivals like Pohela Boishakh, Nabanna, Language Movement Day, Independence Day, Rabindra Jayanti, Nazrul Jayanti witness widespread celebrations and usually are national holidays in Bangladesh.

উৎসব ও উদযাপন বাংলাদেশের সংস্কৃতির অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ। পহেলা ফাল্গুনbengali festivals-bengali language center, বাঙালির পহেলা বৈশাখ এবং পাহাড়ি পথের আদিবাসীদের জন্য বৈশাবি, মাতৃভাষা দিবস, বিজয় দিবস, নোবান্নো, শীতকালে পিঠা উৎসব, পৌষ সংক্রান্তি এবং চৈত্র সংক্রান্তি বাংলা মাসের শেষ দিনে চৈত্র, শাখরাইন সকলেই তাদের ধর্ম সত্ত্বেও উদযাপন করে। ঈদ-উল-ফিতর, ঈদুল আজহা, মিলাদ উন নবী, মহররম, চাঁদের রাত, শব-ই-বরাত, বিশ্ব ইজতেমা; দুর্গাপূজা ও জন্মাষ্টমী হিন্দু উৎসব; বুদ্ধ পূর্ণিমার বৌদ্ধ উৎসব; খ্রিস্টান উৎসব বড়দিন এবং ধর্মনিরপেক্ষ উৎসব যেমন পহেলা বৈশাখ, নবান্ন, ভাষা আন্দোলন দিবস, স্বাধীনতা দিবস, রবীন্দ্র জয়ন্তী, নজরুল জয়ন্তী ব্যাপকভাবে উদযাপনের সাক্ষী এবং সাধারণত বাংলাদেশে জাতীয় ছুটির দিন।

Rickshaw art In Bangladesh, rickshaw art dates back to the 1950s and every conceivable part of the rickshaw is painted. In addition to geometric designs, there are depictions of flowers, birds and even popular actresses. The rickshaw can be decorated to show the driver's religious beliefs and sometimes even a commentary on current social issues.
