A Rainy Day

A rainy day in the monsoon season is extremely pleasant and refreshing. On a rainy day, the sky usually remains covered with thick, dark clouds. Sometimes it drizzles softly, and at other times, it rains heavily. A sense of tranquility prevails in the surroundings with the rhythmic sound of rain. The trees look fresh and vibrant green as the dust is washed away. Due to the rain, water accumulates on the roads, making them muddy. On this day, people generally do not want to step out of their homes unless it is very necessary. For school and college students, a rainy day often brings the joy of an unexpected holiday. For daily laborers and working-class people, a rainy day can become a cause of some hardship. An ethereal beauty of nature unfolds in the villages during a rainy day. Canals, marshes, and rivers become filled to the brim with rainwater. Sitting at home and eating hot Khichuri with fried Hilsa fish is one of the greatest joys of a rainy day. When the sun peeks through the clouds after the rain stops, nature looks even more magical. All in all, a rainy day creates deep feelings and lasting memories in our minds.

Bengal tiger

Bengal tiger   In Bangladesh, tigers are now relegated to the forests of the Sundarbans and the Chittagong Hill Tracts . As of 2004, population estimates in Bangladesh ranged from 200 to 419 individuals, most of them in the Sundarbans. This region is the only mangrove habitat in this bioregion , where tigers survive, swimming between islands in the delta to hunt prey. Bangladesh's Forest Department is raising mangrove plantations supplying forage for spotted deer . Since 2001, afforestation has continued on a small scale in the Sundarbans. From October 2005 to January 2007, the first camera trap survey was conducted across six sites in the Bangladesh Sundarbans to estimate tiger population density. The average of these six sites provided an estimate of 3.7 tigers per 100 km 2 (39 sq mi). Since the Bangladesh Sundarbans is an area ...

In addition to geometric designs, there are depictions of flowers, birds and even popular actresses. The rickshaw can be decorated to show the driver's religious beliefs and sometimes even a commentary on current social issues. [1] In Bangladesh, rickshaw art is looked down upon by the elite population. [2] The three-wheeled pedicab, more commonly known as the rickshaw , has been around since the 1940s. Initially, they were undecorated, but starting in the late 1940s, the faces of movie stars began appearing as decorative motifs on shields at the back of the rickshaws along with a variety of floral paintings. The unique trend of rickshaw art started from Rajshahi and Dhaka in Bangladesh and took its own style in each district. For instance, Chittagong being a more pious city then Dhaka mostly had floral or scenery art whereas Comilla has plain rick...
